Chapter One: Guitars and Maids

Hello, ladies and gents. My name is Row and I've been a Sims addict for quite some time now. Let's go ahead and meet our legacy founder, shall we?

This is Jack O'Brien. He has a good sense of humor, he's a brave bookworm and he's also a genius. He's a virtuoso on top of all that and his LTW is to be a hit movie composer.
Jack summons a maid. I wind up resorting to maids when a Sim wants a significant other, mainly because as NPCs they're always single.
Seeing as how Jack wants to join the music career I figured it was wise to buy him a guitar to bump up his music skill. Not only is it handy for his job, it's a great way to make friends.
This is Jack's trailer. Not much room for anything, but expansions can be made when money is earned.
This is Kate Pistachio, the new maid. Oh...uh...well. Maybe Jack should refrain from hitting on her for a little while longer.
Yeah, Jack needs another alternative to dating other than lurking in his house forever, waiting to hit on unsuspecting and slightly creeped out maids.
Some neighbors stopped by to say hey. This is Jamie Jolina. While she has the right things to be co-founder, she needs some oomph in the form of not wearing five pounds of pixel make-up.
Christopher Steel is unhappy about the fact that he can't be co-founder.
This was when Christopher was desperately trying to talk with Jack. Jack just ignored him, though, playing his merry music.
Simis Bachelor watches the scene before him in confusion.
Christopher got sick and tired of waiting on Jack so he decided to chat up Jamie.
Jack went to the bathroom instead of greeting the neighbors. As you do.
Jack scurried off, avoiding the mob at his doorstep.
The neighbors sigh as they return to their houses. This makes me think, I have NEVER actually befriended any member of any welcome wagon.
I love the parks in the Sims 3. They're all so pretty.
This is Emma Hatch. She's a cutie and she certainly looks better than Kate did.
I may or may not have had Jack call her over because I think her skirt is adorable.
She's single! Yay! This might just work, ya'll.
Emma is a chef, which means she can cook. Emma is also higher up on the culinary ladder which means she has money and can make money easily.
Then Jack told her a joke. I noticed she was giggling when she came up to him and that usually means the Sim has a good sense of humor, doesn't it?
Well, even if it doesn't mean that, Emma still has a good sense of humor. That means they have something in common, too.
In the middle of the conversation, Emma went to use the restroom. This is fine, no biggie. However, I was concerned when I found her in the state she was in when I took this screenshot. That is Miz Hatch up against the wall of the bathroom howling about how she can't get into the bathroom.
Jack passed the time while Emma figured out the mystical wonders of buildings and doors by playing the guitar. That means friends, right? Right.
Except for the fact that the only ones in the park other than Emma at the time were the Goths and one of the Bunch kids. All four of them out of earshot. I'd like to add that I regret not getting a closer shot of the Goths having a picnic.
His music finally attracted Arlo Bunch. Instead of the babes Jack hoped the guitar would bring, it instead brought young boys who just stared at him eerily.
Emma went to play chess instead of talking with Jack or watching him play guitar. So I sent him to the theater to bump up his guitar skill and then he went home to have his favorite food.
I love watching Sims eat their favorite foods. It's so adorable.
Some Sims sing in the shower. I'm not sure if it's just virtuoso thing or just something random.
Jack finally went to bed after his first day in Sunset Valley.
